As a Maui-born native Hawaiian dedicated to community sustainability policy, I am thrilled to see Tulsi Gabbard's dedication to serving the islands on which my ancestors once lived. It is a rare opportunity to elect a candidate with such vision, compassion and expertise on the three “E’s” of sustainability: Environment, Economy, and social Equity. These values are part of Hawaii’s heritage and need to be brought back to the islands and fought for in Congress. Having worked on mainland state and federal sustainability policy, I am excited to support Tulsi Gabbard and confident she will provide leadership in representing the needs of communities in the State of Hawaii!
