HONOLULU - November --, 2011 The Honolulu City Council and Mayor Carlisle are urging U.S. President Barack Obama to make it easier for citizens of China to visit Hawaii. "We would see a tremendous increase of visitors from China if we ease the present visa restrictions for Chinese. This would boost our economy and job creation, as well as reduce the trade imbalance with China--and of course increase the understanding and friendship between Americans and Chinese," said Tulsi Gabbard, Honolulu City Councilmember.
