Tulsi Gabbard's Commitment to Serving Hawaii's 2nd Congressional District with Aloha

Since taking office in 2013, Tulsi has conducted more than 700 community forums and meetings throughout her eight-island district--from Hanalei to Koloa, Waianae to Waimanalo, Kaunakakai to Lanai City, Lahaina to Hana, Kohala to Mountain View and almost every town in between. She has also held more than 450 meetings with Hawaii constituents visiting Washington, DC. Tulsi has representatives located in each county and she and her staff respond to thousands of constituent emails and letters every week--more than 150,000 since taking office--averaging more than 43,000 annually.

Tulsi regularly hosts public town hall phone meetings, public forums, delivers congressional updates, visits factories, farms, hospitals, military bases, and renewable energy sites, conducts a statewide listening tour for veterans, servicemembers, and their families, holds one-on-one constituent meetings, mentors students, works with trade unions and skilled laborers, meets with business owners and organizations, and recognizes community leaders who are making a difference in others' lives.

Committed to staying in touch with those she serves, Tulsi has set up two websites: this website (www.votetulsi.com) and her official House website. She has also set up two Facebook accounts along with Twitter and Instagram. Tulsi also frequently speaks about important issues on national and local TV, radio, print, and online news outlets.
